Join Mary Prevo and the Middle Peninsula Fine Arts Association at Arts on Main on Thursday, April 18th at 7:15 PM for an artist talk organized by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
Mary Prevo, Senior Lecturer of Art History Emerita, Hampden-Sydney College
Mary Prevo earned her BA in art history from the State University of New York at New Paltz and her MA from Columbia University. Before moving to Virginia, she worked at The Cloisters Museum, the Metropolitan Museum, the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, and the Getty Trust. She retired as emerita from Hampden-Sydney College after teaching for over twenty years and is now an independent scholar with interests in architecture, the Middle Ages, and contemporary art.
This program has been organized by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and is funded, in part, by the Paul Mellon Endowment and the Jean Stafford Camp Memorial Fund.
