Seagrass coiled wreath
This class is a fun way to learn the art of pine needle coiling. Students will create an 11 inch wreath coiled with pine needles and seagrass and decorated with shells and driftwood. The wonderful thing about this wreath is that it is customizable by the student. They can choose from a wide selection of prepared shells or bring their own beach souvenirs (must have a drilled or natural hole to sew through). Students will learn the skills of preparing a center ring, starting and building a coil, basic stitching, using seagrass, and adding embellishments.
